Sheriff’s deputies seized more than 300 marijuana plants and other evidence from a suspected grow house in Eastvale, where $64,000 in electricity was siphoned around the meter over the past five months, a sergeant said today.

Deputies assigned to a drug task force went Saturday to the 13000 block of Ivywood Court, suspecting an indoor marijuana growing operation. They seized a total of 338 marijuana plants and 10 ounces of processed pot, Riverside

County sheriff’s Sgt. Bill Davis said.

No one was arrested and an investigation was ongoing. Deputies also discovered that electricity had been illegally bypassed since January and caused a serious fire hazard, Davis said.
