SAN JACINTO – A 23-year-old man suspected of fatally shooting a San Jacinto woman during an apparent domestic altercation was being held without bail today.

Jonathan Michael Delgado of San Jacinto was arrested shortly before midnight on suspicion of murdering 20-year-old Kristal Fesher at a residence in the 1000 block of Falcon Court, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Delgado was booked into the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning this morning.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Jim Erickson said deputies were called to the Falcon Court address to investigate reports of a shooting and found Fesher mortally wounded and Delgado at the scene, Erickson said.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, where she died moments later, according to the sergeant.

Details behind the deadly attack were not immediately disclosed.

He’s definitely innocent, he’s harmless and couldn’t even raise his voice. Being stationed with this guy is one of the greatest things I could have done
