Parolee allegedly assaults deputies in Temecula

TEMECULA – A parolee suspected of beating his mother in their Temecula home was also arrested today for allegedly assaulting a sheriff’s deputy.

Two deputies were dispatched at 7:43 a.m. to the 31100 block of Tecumesh Court on a family disturbance call.

The alleged victim told deputies she was assaulted by her son, Aaron Paul Graves, 30, who ran into a bedroom when they arrived. As he stepped out, Graves allegedly attacked the one of the deputies, but left both with non- threatening injuries, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Jon Wade said.

No shots were fired during the scuffle.

Both deputies were taken to a hospital and then released. Graves was treated at a hospital, and when released, was arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, being under the influence of methamphetamine, assault on a peace officer, violating his parole and other crimes, Wade said.
