Ok, now tell me exactly what gun control law would have prevented these two from doing this? And, how will gun control laws help the victim protect and defend themselves? In California you have a much higher chance of getting a stiffer penalty for illegally carrying and use of a gun defending yourself than the robbers do. Backwards, just wrong headed, nonsense gun laws. All they accomplished in this case as in almost all, is they successfully disarmed a law abiding victim and kept them from defending themselves. They were at the mercy of the criminal, and the criminals know it. That’s why they keep doing it. Robberies would almost cease to exist if the robber knows the victim is packing and knows when and how to use it. Ever seen or heard of an on duty cop getting robbed at gunpoint? Exactly. Why can’t libs keep the emotion out of it and use common sense for once? All they succeed in doing with gun control is disarming the law abiding population and prevent them from defending themselves. That’s all. Criminals don’t give a rats arse about laws. I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

No hope for a good life now? Who cares. I don’t. They made thier beds, now they can sleep in them. If it were up to me, they wouldn’t get anything free in jail either. Food, rent, electric, water, everything would have to be paid for in jail with forced labor. No free rides, even in the slammer. F em. Life is too d… easy for criminals these days, that’s another reason they aren’t scared to commit a crime. You want something, you can ask for it. Or, maybe I will let you work for it, but don’t come up to me and rob me of it.

We do not need to contain the supply of guns, but the demand and use of guns in society.

    @ Reality Checker,
We can’t all be walking around with guns strapped to our side but we can all vote for to be tough on crime. I couldn’t agree more that we need to end the free ride in Prison and make it a place where no one would want to reside because until we do that, you are right, the basic low life criminal has nothing to fear.

Contain the demand? Contain the use? What planet did you find those ideas on?
