Rick Abrego, a veteran SBA lender, has joined Mission Oaks National Bank as a vice president and loan officer in charge of small business lending.
Prior to working for the Temecula-based community bank, Abrego was vice president for Inland Empire National Bank, where he started a Small Business Administration lending department. He also has held SBA lending posts at several other Southern California financial institutions over the past two decades.
“We are lucky to land someone of Rick’s experience and abilities,” said Hector Hernandez, senior vice president and manager of the bank’s SBA department. “His addition is part of an ongoing effort at Mission Oaks to be increasingly responsive to the needs of small business customers.”
Abrego is active in the community and his church. He coaches junior varsity football at Linfield Christian School in Temecula and is a motivational speaker and an avid golfer.
He and his wife Sandee live in Murrieta. They have two grown sons and a daughter.
