Red light runners cited

During the week ending May 22, the Traffic Division of the Temecula Police Department issued 100 citations at various locations throughout the city for red light violations. Police say the Signal Light Abuse Program (SLAP) enforces red light violations, which has shown to reduce the risk of injuries and death caused by traffic collisions.
