TEMECULA – All public and private school students are been invited to participate in the Elks annual drug awareness contests. The theme for the 2017-2018 contests is “What Heroes Do.”
There are three contests available.
The poster contest is for students in grades 3-5. The essay contest is for students in grades 6-8, and the video contest is for high school students.
All schools in Temecula and Murrieta were given the contest rules and contest entry form. The deadline for entries is Nov. 14. Entries must be turned into the Temecula Valley Elks No. 2801, which is located at 28061 Diaz Road in Temecula. Please call (951) 695-7470 before dropping them off to assure someone is there to accept the contest entries. Entries will not be accepted after Nov. 14.
The judges will pick the top three entries in each category. The winners, their parents and their teachers will be invited to a special dinner and award presentation ceremony at the Temecula Valley Elks No. 2801. The winners will be notified by mail.
