TEMECULA – The City of Temecula proudly presents the annual Patriotic Salute to Veterans Friday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m., held at the Temecula Civic Center, 41000 Main Street. The community is invited to attend this free concert to honor veterans on this commemorative day.
The event will feature remarks by city dignitaries, the presentation of military banners to recognize active military personnel from Temecula’s Military Banner Program and a performance by the Temecula Valley Symphony.
The highlight of the annual Veterans Day Celebration is the 90-minute concert under the stars entitled “Patriotic Salute to Veterans” presented by the Temecula Valley Symphony. It will feature John Mario, as music director and conductor, and guest vocalists Heather Lundstedt O’Neill and Jonathan Hawkins. The concert will include symphonic pops and patriotic favorites in a salute to our veterans and will begin with “The Star Spangled Banner” performed by the Southwest Women’s Chorus.
Bring your jackets, blankets, chairs, picnic dinner or visit one of the many Old Town eateries for an early dinner, and enjoy a wonderful evening under the stars at this free Veterans Day event.
