Lady Gaga to replace Beyonce as Coachella festival headliner

INDIO – Lady Gaga will headline both Saturdays of this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, replacing Beyonce, who had to bow out of the festival due to her pregnancy, Billboard reported today.

Beyonce announced earlier this month that she was pregnant with twins and subsequently said she was skipping the festival on the advice of her doctor but would return to the desert to headline Coachella in 2018.

A Goldenvoice representative could not be reached for comment on the Billboard report.

Headliners Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar are also slated to perform for the sold-out event, set for the weekends of April 14-16 and April 21-23 at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio.
