Lake Elsinore will host the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer ‘Race for the Cure’ in October, according to reports from the Lake Elsinore City Council meeting.

In an emotionally charged plea, a Temecula mother sought help via social media to find her missing daughter. Missing for nearly 24-hours, Caleigh Tabler was ultimately located. For more information on this story:

SPORTS

Two Temecula teenagers have verbally committed to  the colleges of their choice. Great Oak High School standout football players Jake Schwarzer, Linebacker, and Bryson Cain, Offensive Tackle, who both earned ‘All League CIF Honors’ last season, announced their intentions to University of Arizona and Navy football programs.

GAS PRICES

Riverside and San Bernardino counties dropped a substantial $0.3 cents today. It now stands at $3.51 a gallon after 14 straight days of price drops. And for the first time in months. California gas prices are not the most expensive in the nation. Alaska, Nevada, and Hawaii still remain the highest gas prices in the nation. California is still one in four states across the country with gas prices hovering at or above $3 per gallon.
