Guns and Hoses event honors city’s responders

On Saturday, March 30, the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce along with the City of Menifee hosted Guns and Hoses – a dinner honoring Menifee’s first responders, police, firefighters and paramedics – at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center.

Many community members came out to enjoy an evening of fellowship and to show their gratitude to the men and women who put their lives on the line daily to serve the community.

Mayor Scott Mann was in attendance, along with other city council members. The evening consisted of food furnished by Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant, Juice It Up served refreshing fruit smoothies, Panera donated bread, and entertainment from professional Hypnotist and hypnotherapist HypnoTwyz made the audience roar with laughter as he had volunteers dancing, acting, modeling and even had a man believe he was the first man alive to give birth.

The evening was a wonderful way to thank the first responders for their dedication, commitment and leadership in keeping the city of Menifee safe.
