New study shows improved balance with Geri-Fit

TEMECULA – A new study on balance improvement was recently published in Clinical Interventions in Aging published by Dove Press Feb. 10 entitled “Using the Balance Tracking System (BTrackS) and Geri-Fit as a Targeted Approach for Assessing and Reducing the Postural Sway of Older Adults with High Fall Risk.”

Study participants were enrolled in the Geri-Fit evidence-based strength training program and saw an 80 percent improvement in balance over a 90-day period. The study was conducted at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center in Menifee during 2016.
