LAKE ELSINORE – A 2-year-old child remains hospitalized in critical condition after suffering critical injuries in a near-drowning incident on Sunday, April 3, according to Riverside County Sheriff Sergeant Todd Grimm. The medical emergency occurred at about 4:30 p.m., in the 31000 block of Hyacinth Court, in Lake Elsinore.

Deputies and other emergency first responders rushed to the location after receiving a 911 call regarding the report of a child not breathing call.
