The California Highway Patrol is reporting the following road closures as of 4 p.m. today (Wed., May 14)
·Interstate 15 northbound and southbound lanes at State Route 76
·Interstate 5 southbound and northbound offramps at Palomar Airport Road
·Interstate 5 northbound and southbound offramps at Basilone Road
·State Route 76 eastbound lanes at South Mission Road and the westbound lanes at Old Highway 395
Interstate 5 is open at San Onofre.

Wildfires force closures on major freeways in San Diego County
SAN DIEGO – Three wildfires in San Diego County have required major area freeway closures. Closures are in effect on Interstate 5 just north of the San Onofre Checkpoint. Three northbound lanes and three southbound lanes are open following a full closure in both directions earlier today due to the Camp Pendleton Fire.
The off-ramps from State Route 76 to northbound and southbound Old Highway 395 are closed due to the Old Highway 395 Fire.
The northbound off-ramp from I-5 to Palomar Airport Road is closed due to the Poinsettia Fire.
Motorists are advised to avoid the areas and to expect lengthy delays.
