Equestrian vaulting club to perform holiday show

MENIFEE – The Riding Academy and TRA Equestrian Vaulting Club is announcing its second annual holiday show on Dec. 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., hosted by the riding Academy in Menifee, California at 30300 Garbani Road (directions available at vaulton.com).

Equestrian vaulting is the sport of gymnastics and dance on a moving horse. Recently, several of the team members including Haley Brant, Kara Crowley and Nicole Doty received awards at Regionals in Las Vegas.

Haley Brant was the high point winner for the entire region and a Regional Champion. Haley is a freshman at Temescal Canyon High School. The team is coached by Roy “Rusty” Hill II, a former Olympian and World Champion.

The event this year is a two act show, the first act is the story of the Grinch and the second act is a more advanced holiday montage. The show begins at 11:15 a.m. with an intermission and Act II beginning at 1:15 p.m.

In addition to seeing this amazing sport, there will be pictures with Santa and the Grinch, rides on horses, and food and beverages available for donations. TRA Vaulting Club is a non-profit organization, this event is by donation only, and admission is free with reservation.

Come out and see some amazing performances by Regional Champions coached by a former Olympian. Please remember this is a fundraiser. You will have the opportunity to make donations for pictures, horse rides, and refreshments. You will also be able to pledge a donation to the team or an individual vaulter.
