RIVERSIDE COUNTY SHERIFF PRESS RELEASE –
On Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 5:49 AM, officers from the Menifee Police Department responded to a report of a single roll over vehicle collision in an open field east of the 215 Fwy. A 38-year-old white male resident of Orange, CA was located near the wreckage of a white Toyota 4-Runner. Cal Fire responded and pronounced the male deceased.
The Menifee Traffic Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene. A preliminary investigation revealed the male driver was traveling southbound Antelope Rd. at a high rate of speed when he left the paved roadway and lost control of his vehicle. The Toyota traveled approximately ¼ mile in the open field before rolling numerous times and ejecting the male driver.
