The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Flash Flood Warning for South Central Riverside County in Southern California and North Central San Diego County in Southwest California until 5:45 PM PDT.
At 2:40 PM PDT, the National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated a Thunderstorm seven miles east of Palomar Mountain, or 23 miles northwest of Borrego Springs, which will likely produce Flash Flooding. The Thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
Other locations in the warning include, but are not limited to Highway 79, Oak Grove and Agaunga.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be to great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground.
