HOMELAND: Arson arrest made for three Homeland fires

One man was arrested on suspicion of setting three fires in the Homeland area, CalFire/Riverside County Fire Department officials announced this week.

Investigators arrested Marcos Aispuro on May 20, for allegedly setting the fires, according to a press release issued by the agency.

Aispuro, 43 a transient of the Homeland/Romoland area was arrested and booked on two counts of Penal Code section 451( c ) – arson to a structure and arson to property and one count of Health and Safety Code 11364( a ) – possession of drug paraphernalia.

The fires occurred in the early hours of May 20, 2016. Two separate fires occurred in the 26000 block of Homeland Avenue. One fire occurred in the 31000 block of Neer Street.

Aispuro was transported to the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside where he remains in custody in lieu of $150,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday, June 3 at 8:30 a.m.
