Inland Empire gasoline price drops to lowest amount since March 24

RIVERSIDE – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped today to its lowest amount since March 24, decreasing nine-tenths of a cent to $2.788.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 20 of the past 21 days, decreasing 13 cents, including 1 cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 6.1 cents less than a week ago, 11.9 cents lower than one month ago and $1.32 below what it was one year ago.

The average price dropped for four consecutive days, rose one-tenth of a cent July 11 and resumed dropping July 12.
