Inland Empire gasoline price drops to lowest amount since Feb. 21

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped today to its lowest amount since Feb. 21, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.823.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 2.9 cents less than one week ago, 21.3 cents lower than one month ago and 2.1 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price

Information Service.

The average price has decreased 44 of the past 46 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Thursday.

“For the last six weeks, local wholesale prices have remained relatively stable and retail prices are getting close to the point where they won’t drop any further without another dip at the wholesale level,” said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
