Inland Empire Gasoline Price Resumes Dropping

RIVERSIDE – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped three-tenths of a cent today to $4.117, one day after a 24-day streak of decreases ended with a one-tenth of a cent rise.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is at its lowest amount since April 10. It is 2.3 cents less than one week ago and 16.9 cents lower than one month ago, but 10 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price dropped 16.9 cents during the streak of decreases, including one-tenth of a cent on both Saturday and Sunday.
