DIEGO COUNTY THROUGH THURSDAY…

HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL CONTINUE HOT DAYTIME WEATHER AND WARM
NIGHTS THROUGH THURSDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL BE 5 TO 15 DEGREES
ABOVE NORMAL. SLOW COOLING WILL BEGIN FRIDAY THROUGH EARLY NEXT
WEEK.

SAN BERNARDINO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTY VALLEYS-THE INLAND EMPIRE-
SANTA ANA MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS-ORANGE COUNTY INLAND AREAS-

* TEMPERATURE…HIGH TEMPERATURES OF 98 TO 105 IN THE INLAND
EMPIRE…95 TO 102 IN INLAND ORANGE COUNTY…AND 92 TO 102 IN
THE SANTA ANA MOUNTAINS WITH OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES OF 70 TO
78 DEGREES.

* TIMING…THROUGH THURSDAY. TODAY WILL BE THE HOTTEST
DAY…FOLLOWED BY MINOR COOLING THURSDAY. COOLING WILL CONTINUE
FRIDAY INTO NEXT WEEK.

* IMPACTS…RISK OF HEAT RELATED ILLNESS. THOSE AT HIGH RISK
INCLUDE CHILDREN…THE ELDERLY…AND PETS WITHOUT ADEQUATE
