TEMECULA – On behalf of the Board of Directors of Jacob’s House, the organization is honored to announce an important milestone for the nearly 6-year-old non-profit organization which was created through tragedy but is built on the strong foundation of hope, comfort, and inspiration.
Jacob’s House is now the proud owner of a 3,800 square foot residential home on 2.3 acres of land located in the Santiago Estates, only 0.6 miles from the new Temecula Valley Hospital.
Similar to a Ronald McDonald House, Jacob’s House will be a home away from home for families who have a loved one in a medical crisis situation at the Temecula Valley Hospital. Their mission is to help and support those families in crisis.
“While we cannot change the destiny, we can impact the journey for those families,” the organization states.
This significant accomplishment would not have been possible without Mission Oaks National Bank, the Rancho Family Medical Group, Southland Industries, Southwest Healthcare, Paradise Chevrolet, Temecula Mud Run, CR&R, and all key partners and donors for their on-going support of Jacob’s House.
A large open house event is planned to take place over the next few months to allow the community to see the new home and rally behind the efforts. Jacob’s House is requesting assistance to help furnish and equip the new home. Their goal is to be completely operational once the Temecula Valley Hospital opens in the fall of 2013.
“We believe hope lives where visions connect….multiple visions dedicated to one common purpose of helping families in crisis,” the organization states.
