A man was shot in Hemet on Friday and authorities were investigating to determine what happened.
The shooting happened about 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Acacia Avenue and Inez Street, according to a news release from Hemet police Lt. Eddie Pust.
Pust said officers found the man lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound.
That man was taken to the hospital for his wounds, which were non-life threatening.
Pust said that a motive for the shooting had not been determined as of Friday afternoon.
