MENIFEE – A motorcyclist was seriously injured and his motorcycle was torn to pieces when the man smashed head-on into a utility pole while traveling at high-speed along a rural dirt road. The violent wreck, that snapped a utility pole in half and left motorcycle parts and debris strewn across the unimproved, dirt roadway, happened on Howard Road in Menifee, Monday, May 8.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Menifee Police Station and other emergency first responders rushed to the scene of the wreck just after 4 p.m.

When they arrived, officials found the motorcyclist down in the roadway. He was near a downed power pole and surrounded by pieces of his destroyed motorcycle, which was described as a customized, black, Harley Davidson.

I doubt anyone that has ever traveled outside there home is surprised that someone on a motorcycle was driving out of control.
