Menifee person suffers minor burns during fire in mobile home

MENIFEE – One person suffered minor burn injuries this morning in a fire that ripped through a double-wide manufactured home in Menifee, authorities said.

The fire in the 27500 block of Coyote Circle was reported at 1:17 a.m., said Melody Hendrickson of the Riverside County Fire Department.

The home was engulfed in flames, but all of its occupants had made it out safely by the time firefighters arrived, Hendrickson said, adding that the injured resident was treated at the scene and declined to be taken to a hospital.

Twenty-one firefighters responded to the blaze, Hendrickson said.

”The residents did not require assistance from (the) American Red Cross,” she said.
