A motorcyclist was killed because he lost control as he tried entering a curve in Lake Elsinore and crashed, a sergeant said today.

The rider of a 2014 Yamaha motorcycle was going east on Railroad Canyon Road at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday as he approached Church Street, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Steve Brosche said.

The rider lost control of his bike and crashed. He was taken to a hospital where he died, Brosche said.
