Spring breakers wreak havoc at Pechanga

Drivers and pedestrians on Pechanga Pkwy. early this morning, March 28, were welcomed to an unusual sight as it seemed a white spring had arrived in Temecula.

The water fountain announcing Pechanga Resort & Casino was filled with soap some time during the early morning hours and was spewing bubbles in such a high volume that it resembled snow. The “Pechanga” sign was barely visible behind the suds.

Pechanga Public Relations Officer Ciara Green declined to comment other than to say the fountain has since been cleaned up.

Temecula sheriff’s officials could not be reached for comment.

it’s c**p like this from these vandals that have ruined it for spring break in Palm Springs and Lake Havasu. I am NOT a fan of Pechanga, but I sincerely hope they catch the punks who did this and prosecute them fully! This c**p just is not right! Working in the hotel business for years, this kind of bad behavior not only costs in maintenance, but affects the regular guests stay. Personally I would ban college groups, they are NOT worth the hassle!
