Strong thunderstorm predicted for Lake Hemet, Idyllwild and Highway 79

A strong thunderstorm bringing 50 mph gusts and heavy rain was predicted today over parts of Lake Hemet, Idyllwild and other areas.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service also issued a flash flood warning, expiring at 5:45 p.m. for Aguanga, Oak Grove and Highway 79 in southwest Riverside County and northern San Diego County.
