Officers from the Temecula Police Department are currently seeking a suspect in connection with a recent bank robbery and are asking for the public’s help to find him, a Sheriff’s official reported today.
The robbery took place around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at the First Citizen’s Bank at 44575 Avenida De Missions in Temecula. During this time an unknown male adult brandished a gun at the bank employees and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash, Sgt. Dean Spivacke said.
Bank tellers complied with man’s request, giving him cash. He then fled from the bank, according to Spivacke.
Members of the Temecula Police Department arrived moments later but were not able to locate the man. Spivacke said none of the bank employees were injured during the robbery.
The suspect was described as a white male adult in his 20s. He was 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighed approximately 150 Ibs. He was wearing a black and yellow baseball cap, a dark shirt and dark pants.
