Temecula Valley Rose Society to meet Feb. 21

TEMECULA – The Temecula Valley Rose Society will meet on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 10:15 a.m. at the Temecula Public Library at 30600 Pauba Road, Temecula. During the month of February there will also be a membership drive: all new members who join in February will receive a rose in a 5-gallon pot, ready for spring planting.

Ric Newcomer of the San Diego Cactus and Succulent Society will give a presentation on “Who said cactus flowers were dull?” Newcomer will be talking about the care, watering, soil mixture, correct pots and how to keep your cacti and succulents healthy.

Guests and prospective members are welcome. There is no admission charge. A light luncheon is available after the meeting.
