Woman charged with 18 felony vandalism counts for Menifee storefront spree

MURRIETA – A woman suspected of causing more than $200,000 in damage to storefront glass windows and doors at three Menifee shopping centers was charged today, May 10, with 18 felony vandalism counts.
Alexandrea Stephanie Jensen, 29, was slated to be arraigned this afternoon on the  charges stemming from multiple acts of vandalism she
allegedly committed last week at the Countryside Marketplace, the Town Center Marketplace and the Menifee Town Center.
The sheriff’s department was notified last Thursday, May 4, of vandalism at more than a dozen stores at the shopping centers, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Curt Harris.
The businesses “suffered serious damage to their front glass display windows and glass entrance doors,” he said.
On Friday, May 5, investigators identified, located and impounded the vehicle driven by the suspected vandal, Harris said, and arrested Jensen the following day.
Following her arrest, investigators found more damaged retail stores in Menifee and suspect that she was also responsible for that damage, Harris said.
Authorities have not revealed what might have motivated the vandalism.
