SAN JACINTO – RSI Communities, developer of the recently completed Parkside Community in the heart of San Jacinto, has recently purchased two more tracts.
“San Jacinto is continuing to see a resurgence and uptick in its new housing development portfolio and is ecstatic that RSI Communities continues to partner with the city to build out its community. RSI’s Parkside Development is a great addition to the San Jacinto lifestyle, and we are looking forward to them finishing the two newly purchased tracts,” City Manager Rob Johnson said.
RSI Communities has chosen to continue to invest in San Jacinto by acquiring and building 92 more new homes to complete final tract maps at Potter’s Ranch and Almaden. San Jacinto has seen an increase in residential permits over the past year and has outpaced the average of its previous permit totals over the last four years by nearly double. The city finished 2017 with 235 new housing permits.
“The hot residential development market has retail developers gobbling up commercial property as fast as possible to build new retail to keep the upcoming new residential market captive and shopping in San Jacinto – and we love it,” Johnson said.
In early 2017, San Jacinto kicked off a rebirth of its economic development program by creating a relationship and strong partnership with Retail Strategies, a nationwide company known for assisting cities in identifying and recruiting retail, restaurant and entertainment concepts.
“The partnership with Retail Strategies is already proving that San Jacinto is an attractive housing market, with a growing retail base, and we are so excited to have RSI Communities developing and offering more of its brand to those that want to move up and move in to the San Jacinto lifestyle,” Johnson said.
