RIVERSIDE: Average Inland Empire Gas Price Drops For 18th Time in 19 Days

RIVERSIDE – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped today for the eighth consecutive day and 18th time in 19 days, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $2.94.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has dropped 8.1 cents over the past 19 days, including a half-cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.9 cents less than one week ago and 6 cents lower than one month ago, but 9.7 cents higher than one year ago and 18.2 cents more than on Jan. 1.

The average price dropped 10 consecutive days, rose two-tenths of a cent on June12, then resumed dropping the following day.
