Menifee church serves 75 Christmas dinners

MENIFEE – Menifee United Church of Christ served 75 free Christmas dinners to people in need, to the elderly and to those who wanted to spend Dec. 25 with others.

“We want to thank the people who came for a free meal,” the Rev. Bill Freeman, senior minister of Menifee United Church of Christ, said. “And we want to thank those who volunteered today; we couldn’t have done it without them.”

Volunteers brought food – turkeys, ham and all the trimmings – and they helped serve and cleaned up afterward.

Menifee United Church of Christ, 26701 McCall Blvd., in Menifee conducts worship services 11 a.m. Sundays.

Thank you for this information. God will bless all of you who have reached out to help those in need. I am 87, as of Jan 4th. I have family here, but live alone. I want for nothing, good health, good mind. But I am in a great deal of turmoil about my life, involving family..
I need to talk with someone wiser than I. I have attended your church, but not for awhile. Young therapist do not really know how to work with the elderly and I cannot relate. My daughter is a psycologist sp, but not for family. Is there someone, without 200 an hour, that you could recommend?
