The 2018 San Diego Divine Mercy Conference moves to October

PALA – The 2018 San Diego Divine Mercy Conference has been moved to Oct. 13, at the Mission San Antonio de Pala, 3015 Mission Road, in Pala.

The first Divine Mercy Conference was held at St. Mary Star of the Sea in Oceanside in November as a reminder that divine mercy is more than Mercy Sunday. It was to be lived all year round.

The first six conferences were held a week or two before Thanksgiving, when it had to be moved a new location at St. Therese in January.

Eventually, the conference out grew the space at St. Therese. In 2008, the conference found the Mission San Antonio de Pala. It has separate rooms for confessions and bookstores. The change in conference dates will mean improved the weather, and daylight savings time will be in effect. Many people have left before the last talk, so they wouldn’t have to drive in the dark. Now they will have an extra hour of daylight.

Speakers for the Oct. 13 conference include the Rev. Donald Calloway; Jesse Ramero, lay evangelist, and the Rev. Wade Menezes of the Fathers of Mercy.

Registration will begin August 2018. For more information, visit www.SDdivinemercy.org or call Joe and Carol Pallazola at (619) 276-6637.
