Eight people were arrested in connection with several pounds of liquid methamphetamine and other evidence that sheriff’s deputies seized at a Perris home, a sergeant said today.
Members of a sheriff’s drug task force served a search warrant at 3:05 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Opal Drive.
Deputies found 3.13 pounds of the illegal drug along with 9.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a loaded firearm and drug paraphernalia at the home, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Robert Novak said.
All the suspects were arrested for suspicion of numerous violations that included maintaining a drug house and possession of methamphetamine for sale, Novak said. Five of the suspects were probationers.
Deputies arrested Ulices Mendoza, 30, Lena Amparan, 26, Richard Moore, 43, and Carlos Martin, 24, all from Perris; Raul Lopez, 36, Alberto Alvarez, 33, Jaime Mojica, 34, all from Perris; and Brooke Coates, 21, of Murrieta.
