PERRIS – A man and a 17-year-old girl were arrested in connection with the luring another man and girl to a location in Perris where the man was stabbed repeatedly during a robbery, a sergeant said today.
Deputies were dispatched at 9:20 p.m. Friday to an area near Vantage Drive and Monument Parkway and found the victim with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital but his condition was not disclosed.
The girl, whose age was not given, was with the victim but was not hurt, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Ryan Hoxmeier said. The girl’s relationship to the victim was not revealed.
Sheriff’s detectives learned the victim and suspect Albert Antonio Fierro, 20, of Perris, knew each other. Fierro and his teenage accomplice allegedly conspired to travel to the location with the victim in order to commit robbery and attempted murder, Hoxmeier said.
Investigators recovered the weapon along with other evidence allegedly linking Fierro and the teen to the crime.
Fierro was arrested early today and booked on suspicion of second degree robbery, extortion and attempted murder. He remained in custody in lieu of $1 million bail, records showed.
The teenage girl was booked into juvenile hall for conspiring to commit robbery and attempted murder, Hoxmeier said.
Fierro’s tie with his alleged accomplice was not explained.
