Man arrested after several burglaries reported

The Temecula Police Department received multiple burglary and vandalism calls during the beginning part of July 2014. The Temecula Police Department’s Problem Orientated Policing team (P.O.P.), began investigating these crimes. Through the use of surveillance footage and witness statements, they were able to identify the suspect as, Darrius Jerrod Frye, age 24 of Temecula.

On July 17, 2014, P.O.P. officers were able to locate and detain Frye. Frye was subsequently arrested and booked into custody at the Southwest Detention Center.

The Temecula Police Department is dedicated to maintaining a high quality of life and encourages citizens to report any suspicious activity they observe.     To comment #1…its a catch and release program around here… not a violent crime, there’s no room available! What’s the point of having valuables anyway… not like we need ’em!!
