Man arrested in Perris for carjacking with a handgun

On June 16, 2014, about 9:12 PM, deputies from the Perris Station responded to the 1800 block of Windward Court, Perris, reference a “shots fired” call. While responding to the shooting, a carjacking with a handgun was reported in the 1400 block of Apple Creek Drive, Perris. The two investigations revealed that the incidents were related and identified 38-year-old Adrian Partida as the suspect.

Adrian Partida was located at his residence in the 600 block of Clearwater Drive, Perris and was arrested without incident. He was later booked at the Southwest Detention Center on carjacking while armed with a handgun, shooting at an inhabited building, domestic violence and child endangerment charges and is currently held without bail.
