Temecula pizzeria robbed, investigation ongoing

TEMECULA – On November 12th, 2012, at 12:15 PM, officers from the Temecula Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the Pizza Hut Restaurant in the 29700 block Rancho California Road, Temecula.

The lone suspect, described as a white male, 28-30 years of age, approximately 5′-09″ tall, thin build (140 lbs.), reddish-orange hair, sunglasses and wearing dark clothing, entered the business and asked the cashier to make change for a dollar. As the victim opened the cash register, the suspect brandished a handgun and stepped behind the counter. The suspect removed an unknown amount of currency from the register and fled the business on foot.
