Wildomar Church Members Asked to Check for Identity Theft

WILDOMAR – Authorities today asked members of a Wildomar church to check their bank accounts for identity theft following pilfering of cash and checks from church collections.

An employee of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in April reported the theft of donations made by parishioners between April 7 and April 13, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Todd Pauling said.

He didn’t say how much was stolen.

Anyone who discovers a check was cashed or who has any information about the theft was asked to contact investigators at (951) 245-3357.
