The family of Carol Roripaugh Haskin Blauser invites the public to her interment at the Old Temecula Cemetery on June 23 at 10 a.m. Blauser passed away at the age of 79 on Nov. 2, 2007. She was cremated and now her family has been able to come together for an occasion to celebrate her life. Although she lived and died in Strawberry, AZ, Blauser was originally from Temecula. Much of her family worked at Vail Ranch. Blauser’s granddaughter, Summer Zilles, said her grandmother did everything from ranching to being a stay-at-home mom. Later in life, Blauser was widowed and eventually retired. "She loved gardening," said Zilles. "Her big thing was being outdoors. She loved to be around kids and loved jigsaw puzzles and crafts, too." People will remember her by her quiet, sweet nature, said Zilles. Her grandmother was always willing to help people and was an all-around good person and a good listener, Zilles added. Blauser is survived by her daughters Carol Ann Swain and Nancy Hoel; grandchildren Summer, Miller and Chloe Zilles; brother Nobel Roripaugh; and daughter-in-law Joan Roripaugh.
