Margarite Ann McClain, 74, passed away on Aug. 23 in Anza, where she resided for the last eight years.

Born on Sept. 1, 1933, in Brewster, KS, McClain formerly lived in Fallbrook for 30 years.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Moose Lodge as well as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

McClain is survived by daughters Marsha Posey and Hazel Johnston; son-in-law John Johnston; granddaughters Victoria Kappmeyer, Sasha Ford and Joy Isaacs; and grandson Charles LeVere.

A memorial service to celebrate her life was held on Aug. 30.
