Meg Paz has a sincere passion for her profession, as it has brought such a positive outcome to both herself and her clientele.

What started out as being an independent distributor for Herbalife eight years ago has truly become an important part of Paz’s life.

Prior to becoming a distributor, Paz personally tested some Herbalife products and was nothing short of amazed with the results.

"I was a brand new mom needing to lose pregnancy weight, and in three days, I dropped three pounds and had amazing energy," Paz said, speaking of the birth of her first child. "It took me 14 weeks to lose 35 pounds."

In addition to her Herbalife business, Paz has organized a 12-Week Biggest Loser Weight Loss Challenge.

Despite whatever diet a person may be on, a participant pays a $29 entrance fee and $24 of that amount goes into a winner’s pool.

"The first week of the challenge, we measure and take pictures, and on the second week, we give a metabolism test," explained Paz.

Participants get weighed on a weekly basis and have Advertisement

meetings regarding weight loss and nutrition.

At the end of 12 weeks, the person who has lost the most weight wins the Weight Loss Challenge lotto.

"We can have anywhere from three to 30 participants in these challenges," she said. "These challenges are also running across the country."

Paz enjoys cheering her participants on, seeing their self-esteem and energy levels rise week after week.

"People are my favorite part of this job and there is absolutely nothing better than making a difference in somebody’s life," she said.

The challenge promises people they will lose weight, have the opportunity to win cash and get personalized coaching, a free metabolism test, nutrition class, weekly weigh-ins and prizes awarded to first, second and third places.

The challenge begins Feb. 21 at Wine Country Pool and Supply at 30590 Rancho California Road in Temecula.
