LAKE ELSINORE - Authorities today sought at least three suspects in the gang-related death of a man who died at a hospital after being found stabbed at a Lake Elsinore apartment complex.

Larry Coronado Perez Jr., 35, was found at 5:49 p.m. Monday at 951 Flannery St. when Lake Elsinore deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, sheriff's Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela said.

Perez was taken to the Inland Valley Medical Center and declared dead at 11:46 p.m., according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.

Sheriff's homicide investigators determined that Perez had been arguing with three or four men in a dark-colored, four-door, full-sized pickup truck before a fight broke out and Perez was stabbed, according to Sgt. Michael Lujan.

LAKE ELSINORE - A man who was fatally stabbed at a Lake Elsinore apartment complex during a fight with a group of men was identified today as a Perris resident.

Larry Coronado Perez Jr., 35, was found at 5:49 p.m. Monday at 951 Flannery St., when Lake Elsinore deputies responded to a report of a stabbing, sheriff's Sgt. Michael Lujan said.

Perez was taken to the Inland Valley Medical Center, where he died of his injuries at 11:46 p.m., according to the county coroner's office.

Investigators determined that Perez argued with three or four men -- why is unclear -- and the disagreement turned into a physical altercation, Lujan said.

The suspects, who were described only as Hispanic men in their early 20s, fled in a dark-colored, four-door truck, he said.

Anyone with information about the stabbing was asked to call the Lake Elsinore sheriff's station at (951) 245-3300.

"The suspects, who were described only as Hispanic men in their early 20s" like that doesn't describe just about thousands of men? Ever check out the Riverside county 'most wanted'. They are mostly male hispanics with ties to mexico. Go figure.

I dont see how two wrongs make a right. Even those people in question have people who love and care for them. Why is a 35 year old involved with gangs?? Anyone ask that question. What we need to do is stop killing our own. This society unfortunately is only geared to one thing DESTROYING OUR YOUTH. We provide them with ways to destroy themselves and then we twofaced ask how did it happen. It starts at home. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Lets all step up and be accountable and help our future youth to have good morals respect for life and others, but most importantly for themselves. Stop the violence it will only cause more tears.
