A recent vintage car display at a Menifee restaurant has set the stage for the annual Spring Rod Run in Old Town Temecula this weekend. Menifee’s Yellow Basket restaurant typically attracts about 20 vintage cars and trucks at its afternoon outings on the first Saturday of every month. Those outings attract members of the Drifters Car Club of Southern California. Club members also play a prominent role at the Rod Run, which is held tonight and Saturday and is one of the most popular events in Temecula’s historic business district.
