10-year-old girl dies in Blythe vehicle crash, 5-year-old sustains minor injuries

BLYTHE - A 10-year-old girl was killed in a crash in Blythe, county fire officials announced today.

The crash was reported at 6:54 p.m. on De Frain Boulevard, north of Seeley Avenue, said Cheri Patterson of the Riverside County Fire Department.

"Upon arrival of the incident firefighters located a 10-year-old female who had been Advertisement

ejected from the vehicle," Patterson said. "She was pronounced dead at the scene."

The child's mother and 12-year-old sister were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Patterson said, and their 5-year-old brother sustained minor injuries as well. The boy was airlifted to Desert Hospital.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation today.

My cousins dead. how come this had to happen. i cant belive this she ment really alot to me and now shes dead
