Men, woman wanted for shooting at security guards

TEMECULA - A man suspected of shooting at two security guards outside a Temecula shopping center when they disrupted his urinating remained at large today.

The attack happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 33000 block of Temecula Parkway, near Butterfield Stage Road, where two shopping complexes are located.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, a vehicle parked in the driveway of a business, and a man stepped out and began urinating. Sheriff's officials said another man also got out of the car and noticed two security officers observing the scene, prompting him to shout profanities.

several shots in the direction of the security guards," according to a sheriff's statement. "Both victims dropped to the ground and were uninjured during the incident."

The two suspects jumped back into the car, and the female driver sped away, sheriff's officials said.

The shooter was described as white or Hispanic, tall, in his mid 20s and wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt.

His accomplice was described as white or Hispanic, short, wearing dark-colored clothing.

The driver also was white or Hispanic, wearing dark clothes.

The vehicle was described as an older model two-door silver sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla.

Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to call the sheriff's Southwest station at (951) 696-3000.

A lot of crime in temecula lately! Looks like crime is here to stay in temecula!

Comment #1, you are correct. With the casino and large mall/shopping centers, the gem city Temecula seems to bring allot of trouble from many areas outside the city limits. If the economy was better I would certinly move to a safer and cleaner city such as Lake Elsinore.

If you are blind enough to see temecula as dangerous, though it was found as 2nd safest city in america last year followed by murrieta for cities over 100,000, and can try to say elsinore is safe by any means. Than you should of course live there. There's a 'drug store' on evey corner, pawn shops all around, liquor stores everywhere, and a lake, that every one I've met that lives there says never go in. Its a real gem. Find it very personal to first take a shot at temecula for obviously not from here people, and hilarious someone would try to say temecula is bringing down the area. Funny more and more building here, and none in elsinore. Forget about the sex offender murderers from there?
