Quail Valley marijuana investigation leads to an arrest

MENIFEE – The California Department of Cannabis Control, with the assistance of the Menifee Police Department, served a search warrant at a residence in the Quail Valley community of Menifee regarding illegal cultivation of marijuana. A search of the property led to the discovery of two makeshift greenhouses with a combined total of 198 marijuana plants in different stages of growth. Inside the residence, officers found an unserialized AR-15 type rifle, commonly referred to as a ghost gun, with a high-capacity magazine.
